Why You Should Attend Geek Craft Expo

This weekend we’ll be vending at Geek Craft Expo in Seattle. This is our first time at the Seattle edition and we’re pretty excited for it! This show is the perfect place to do a little holiday shopping for the geek in your life, or get yourself a treat as a reward for doing all the Thanksgiving dishes.

When:

November 29th 6-9 p.m. (special preview night)

November 30th 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

December 1st 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Where:

Magnuson Park Hangar 30, Seattle WA

Cost:

Saturday and Sunday are free if you pre-register or $2 at the door. Preview night on Friday is $15 per person. Free parking is available on-site.

Why:

We like this event because it features artists and crafters. It’s the perfect choice if you’ve decided to shop local, small, and/or handmade this year. It’s even happening on Small Business Saturday!

What We’ll Have:

We’ll be featuring our hooded boleros and upcycled t-shirt pocket mini skirts at this event, AKA the perfect cold weather class wear. Get there early if you want the best mini skirt selection, as many of these are one of a kind! We will also have our velvet ruffle mini skirts, which are beautiful for the studio or the stage. And finally, we will have dice bags, which make a great stocking stuffer or reusable gift bag for small items.

Good to Know:

It’s highly recommended that you pre-register for free entry, and RSVP to the Facebook event. Not only does it save you a few dollars, it also helps both the organizer and the vendors have an idea of how many people are coming each day.

Other good-to-knows are that because this is a geeky event, you are invited to cosplay just like it was a con!

There will also be at least one food truck on site if you get hungry, and a coffee trailer if you get thirsty. Geek Craft Expo is family friendly and pet friendly, although dogs may be turned away at the door if the event is too crowded, so plan accordingly.
